I have an exhibition soon, i'm looking for good photoshop tutorials on photo enhancements. not photo editing, i want the whole adding effects and stuff.
www.pslover.com is a great site with all sorts of Photoshop tutorials!!! I've used it on several occasions to create special effects. Enjoy
I've just installed Photoshop CS3 and I'm looking for some good tutorials to help me get started and to help me move on to the more complex stuff. My friend tried to download some for me but couldn't find anything. How about recommending a book I could buy.
Any advice at all!
I insist that the best book is the "Classroom in a Book" series, published by Adobe. There is a beginning and advanced book and these are the ones used by Adobe certified trainers for their software.
These books take the user through a series of increasingly complex, professional looking projects. The idea is to introduce the user to as many of the applications tools and features as possible. The books include a CD containing all the text an graphics needed to assemble these layouts
I always recommend the users do each of these projects twice. Once, using the included material on the CD, then again, with the users own photos and graphics. The first time introduces the feature and tools. The second time helps the user work out solutions on how to apply the tools in more like a real life situation.
The books are not cheap, but, they are the best and, probably the fastest way to help a designer become a "power user." Photoshop is MUCH more than adjusting colors and swapping heads and bodies.
Where can I get some good photography tips and photoshop lessons? Im getting into pro photography and im buying a canon eos 40d when it comes out. Cost is not a concern for me. Thank you!
keep open mind
I am looking for a FREE website where I can get tips from other photoshop users of CS2. Maybe one where you can post specific questions on how to do a certain thing. Also if you are having a problem learning a tool.

I know my way around photoshop but I mostly use it for design, how can I use it for photography as well?
Brightness And Contrast
The most overlooked problem that most images have is that the brightness and contrast is most always off. When creating images, especially when using layers flatten and change the brightness and contrast.
When you are done editing your image go to
IMAGE > ADJUST > BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST
Move the contrast slider +65, you will immediately start seeing the colors pop they way they should.
